Through scholarships, we support visual artists in the early stages of their careers. We offer scholarship recipients an artist studio or a work-live apartment for the duration of the scholarship period, either free of charge or at a significantly lower rent than the general rental level of the Studio Foundation.

The Helena and Werner Åström Scholarship Studios in Helsinki are intended for the artistic work of visual artists. Both of them are located at Vallila Artist Studios: The Helena Åström Studio at Lemuntie 6 and the Werner Åström Studio at Kisällitalo.
