The Finnish Artists’ Studio Foundation has since the beginning of the early 2000s served as a cooperation point on the Finnish arts residency sector and has taken care of various coordination and information tasks:
– providing and sharing information on residency opportunities, see FAIRE Finnish Artist Residency Network
– organizing peer-to-peer meetings for Finnish residency operators to support the exchange of ideas and cooperation
– collecting data and information on Finnish residencies (e.g. statistics on the amounts of resident artists) in order to provide monitoring data from the field
